Alberta Bobsleigh athletes were well represented in the recent North America's Cup races in Whistler, BC. On the men's side, pilot Taylor Austin swept all of the events... three 2man race and three 4man race wins! Other athletes in the men's events from Alberta were Brendon Thera-Plamondon who is a new pilot showing good skills and push athlete Daniel Sunderland.

Alysia Rissling did the same in all of the women's events. She won all three monobob races and the three 2woman races when teamed up with powerhouse brakewoman Eden Wilson. An impressive showing for all of the women representing Canada in the race (all are Alberta athletes). Bianca Ribi in monobob and in 2woman races with brakewoman Leah Walkeden, reached the podium multiple times. Also racing were young pilots Taylor Rooke and Emily Pickett, getting some fantastic experience on the fastest track in the world with brakewomen Tonia Evans and Tora Yacey.

Derek van den Brink and his new brakeman Sean Fraser got some valuable training time forerunning all of the sessions and races along with para bobsleigh athlete Lonnie Bissonnette.

Thank you all for representing Alberta Bobsleigh so well.
